The Universe Is Not Here to Please Us

You warned that if the United States achieved its goal of zero emissions, that would simply make fossil fuels cheaper for developing countries. Is that happening now? I think we have seen some of it. It's like a subsidy for development to poorer countries, but it's not helping the problem of climate. And so we really do have to think about the universe is not here to please us.
