How to Implement Learning Outcomes Maps in Your Courses
A learning outcomes map will probably be another resource that will really help complement something like backward design. And what you really want from the basis of educational theory is you want to have individual lessons with objective, individual objectives within lessons meet certain goals and filter up to the course. It's one of those, it's a journey, not a destination, because there's always going to be ways that you're going to iterate or ideate that are going to change your activities in your lessons. You definitely want to change based on student feedback but also student demographics may change over time as well.
