In the last five years alone we've seen a steady stream of powerful ecological and climate change theme fiction, from richer powers to kan stanley robinson's ministry of the future. And i feel like in the nutmegs curse, you're taking this further, saying this is the great burden that now rests upon writers, artists, film makers and every one else who is involved in the telling of stories. To us, falls the task of imaginatively restoring agency and voice to non humans. This is a task at once aesthetic and political. Because of the magnitude of crisis that besets the planet, it is now freighted with the most pressing moral agency. That really stayed with me
