Theescan i as very pleased to get hold of them in the end, not least because he had uncovered the first text to teach physical yoga. The opening verse is in praise of this goddess, who, during that period, was only worshipped by buddhists. Modi's government wants to tell a story of yoga that doesn't change, that predates moslems or christians and is largely indian or hindoo. Even if the evidence says otherwise, even if it means rewriting history.
