The History of the Ring Neck Parakeet

London is home to a healthy population of Ring Neck parakeets. The adults weigh from 9 to 15 kilograms, which is about 20 to 33 pounds. Richmond Park, Hyde Park, and Greenwich Park are places where I've regularly heard and seen them. They have even discovered the bird feeder in my garden - they really do like to get their foil. But what about polar bears? The Tower of London used to be home to a polar bear.
