i started to feel increasingly like my hands were tied in academia. i found that one of the most impactful ways that i could probably use my expertise is to go out and build something. You can't build good cohesive teams easily in academi, caus everone wants to be a first thor or a last author. And so as much as i love teaching, i really want to create teams that function as a true, unified team towards goals, and can move the field forward. It's to a, to try to plough a whole new world.
