What Influenced You as a Child?

As a tinager, my favourite dutch author was a guy named willm frederick hermons. His early novels were all about sort of a ambiguous things that happened during world war too. Out of that world at least on the soviet union side in europe. T out of suffering, out of challenge, often emerges beautiful art.
