Introduction
In the next 15 years, the world will be short of a staggering 18 million adequately skilled healfh care workers. Countries in south east asia have some of the lowest densities of skilled health professionals in the world. Australia is one of the lucky countries in the region, but it still faces challengers. To reach effective coverage by 20 30, southEast asia is estimated to need four point seven million more health workers. The global population is growing rapidly and our health care work force is becoming more mobile within nations and between ries. If this issue isn't addressed now yit could have dire consequences for us.
