The Different Phases of Adhesive Capsulitis
The diagnosis can depend on the stage in which adhesive capsulitis presents. In different phases of the condition, it may present to the office with different symptoms. The painful phase resolves first, and then range of motion restores back to normal over time. And that's another important feature of this condition is it's typically regarded as self-limited and resolves over time.
