MOMA: The Future of Drugging ATPases

MOMA stands for molecular machines. And what we mean by molecular machines are sort of the work courses of the cell, a group of 450 to 500 proteins known as ATPases. They call ATPases because they actually break apart the cellular fuel ATP and use that energy to do something important within the cell. Those particular proteins have been very difficult to drug. Third Rock put together this idea that if you brought together all of the latest technologies that we are now benefiting from across the industry that would help you understand what defines how ATPases function,.
