Tesla's Taking Over the World

The overarching mission wasn't to build the biggest car company in the world. It was to solve a bunch of long-standing EV shortcomings and build such an insanely great car that it could change everyone's perception of what an EV could be. And we're already starting to see part some of this happen. We saw that they have 400 to 500,000 pre-orders of the step of the low priced high-volume car he's referencing here but Tim didn't have this information at the time.
