The medium part of the heart land was doing far better than i had been led to believe. I expected to see a lot more of the sort of a de treatise of civilization, sort of signs of social decay in the mid west. But at the same time, a a lot of capital investment and new machines and equipment were being put into rural areas. We're now on to the garret jones production function.
