Russ: A Modern Language for Serverful Java Applications
Rust offers access to C-level performance for people who had no access to it before because nobody would dare to write C code. Russ is the most expressive type system you find in mainstream programming languages without going into the family of strictly functional programming languages. It matters for two reasons: reliability and stability, sort of like option type, result type and so on,. I think that is something that is often a bit overlooked maybe as a big advantage to whatever Python JavaScript, Ruby, Java, C-sharp.
