Stanley Druckenmiller did most of the research that led to Black Wednesday 1992. He had dropped out of graduate school without a degree and began his career in finance by first failing the training program for loan officers at Pittsburgh National Bank. The two men didn't always see eye-to-eye, with one argument erupting during an argument over Soros' decision to sell their bond position after he hadn't consulted him.
