Shijing ping has clearly invested in a deep personal relationship with pruten. The two leaders have men over dozens of times. And i think this is a big factor in why china hasn't distanced itself from russia. Despite the costs, the reputational cost that it's paying now for our staying sort of sympathetic to russia.
