I've definitely found that one hard. I think because their love and respect for you isn't a given. With your kids, at the end of the day, if they fall over and hurt themselves or someone's being mean, they will run to you Because it's just an instinctive thing. Whereas with your step kids, for me personally, I've had a bit more insecurity like, oh, if I say that, are they going to really hate my guts? And how do I make it up to them or recover from that? It's something I've talked to Jesse a lot about - he's always been like, no, treat them the same as Rex and Honey. But
