Could You Evolve Asto Binding?
The idea is that you had ato binding in the ancestor to all these sarbaco viruses. The ancestral vire r b d seems to have it, but we don't know if this actually exists. They say they can make single meno acid changes that will allow ace two binding from a r b d that does not bind a two to begin with. This suggests that human ace two binding is evolutionarily accessible in this lineage.
