The Importance of Trying Enough Ideas
The way fund math works is you want a diversified portfolio where you're allocating capital across a number of different companies. Working on very capital intensive ideas, which could be amazing ideas by themselves, is pretty difficult to do because it requires so much concentration of capital in one or two companies. One lesson there is trying enough ideas that you can find the ones that really work and really matter is pretty important.
