When do you send an ANA for a patient with joint pain? Is the bane of my existence? Arthrologia is such a common presenting complaint. You're looking for joint swelling, but swelling for the joint has had at least two explanations. A lot of time, especially for rheumatoid arthritis, it's more cellular. So no longer you can't feel, but in RA, you're getting the sense that there's soft tissue present.
