You're never going to have the right answer ever. Just be a detective and figure out as much information as possible before you start negotiating. There have been projects that even to day, i'm like, ya, i've worked on a webside project that was a hundred thousand dollars. But i just also took on a project for two thousand dollars in trade. So i think that is the coolest thing about being a free lancer, is that you just get to do whatever you want. And we are now, collectively, as freelancers who work with big companies and also work with the little guys, are levelling the playing field, but at the same time getting money.
