I contend that with this as a foundation, we might consider metaphysics to be ultimately the love of being. Second, I will examine the Thomistic ordering of the sciences and demonstrate its relation to Aquinas' realism. Third, I will conclude this section with a consideration of the Thomistic conception of truth as an ad equation between mind and thing.
