I think it's quite comical that you used a religious cell analogy title. And I think it comes from the fact that we have, we're congregatively encyclogically complex. We have a number of ugly motives, but we also have some mode of empathy. If we manage to channel those with the right institutions, with a commitment to free speech and democracy, then we can mobilize the better angels of our nature as Abraham put them.
