How Soon Do You Have to Be in a Western Culture?

A new category of person is being raised in an East Asian culture and having that whole panoply of skills, but completely understanding Western ways of thinking at the same time. We did a study looking at people in the Silicon Valley area who had immigrated to this country at ages ranging from infancy to like age 20. And it turned out that all of our subjects in general had completely shifted. I mean, because they had all been here for at least 10 years. They came at different ages, but they were indistinguishable from University of Michigan students.
