If we loved everyone, rahab would have been allowed to continue being a prostitute in israel. And ultimately, if you're responsible for loving everyone, then you ultimately love no one. God hasn't given you the resource for that. Modern evangelical has become, hey, man, don't be so judgmental. You've got sins too. Work on your own sins before you start pointing finger at other people. It's essentially saying, i'm not going to be responsible for god kills tens of thousands of people who resist his will.
