Creating Spaces for Black, Queer People in the Bay Area

Don romsberg is a professor of women's and gender studies at sanoma state university. He says racism has always been a problem in San Francisco's gay community, since it first became a gay neighborhood in the 19 seventies. In two thousand four he got involved with an organization that had just started up that became known as castro for all. That was an anti racis organization that was really confronting the exclusionary practices and policies of night life in the castro at the time.
