Mucus of All Things

Most of the mucus in our body, the overwhelming majority comes from our GI tract. About one and a half liters a day are made in our gut. Mucus is like this cross between Jell-O-1 glue. It can trap pollen and things and smoke, but also viruses. People sabotaging this by taking a cough suppressant. If you have good quality mucus, if you stay hydrated, you have nice healthy mucus.
