The Cruelty Free Cosmetics Act in California
The Cruelty Free Cosmetics Act passed its first committee and is now going to the full state assembly in California. If it is passed, any company that sells cosmetics in California will not be allowed to knowingly test on animals or have any of the byproducts they use for their products tested on animals. "I'm excited, first of all, that this is coming up for a vote," she said.
