Stonehenge - A Time of Massive Change
Millions of man hours of labor undertaken by thousands of people across dozens of generations. The amount of work involved is mine boggling, requiring technical skills in stone carving and transport construction. That's leaving aside the necessary motivation to get to do so why? What was all this for? To answer that question we need to take a step back from stonehenge itself and look at it as part of a broader landscape.
