Film Review: Three Billboards
When did three billboards come from that? I read somewhere, was that something is based on some real incident. Like literally when I was like 25, I was on a bus through Texas and saw something almost identical to what we put on our billboards. And it's the sadness and the horror of those billboards stuck in my mind. Then 10 or 15 years later, I thought, well, who might have been so angry to put something that dark and dangerous up? When I had the idea that it was a woman and a mother, that kind of, literally the film almost wrote itself.
