I Can Imitate, You Can Imitate

Nddan: I want to talk a little bit more about imitation and bring it home. What do we mean by imitation anyway? What are the different levels of imitation that we can have in terms of their utility for learning? Nddan: Imitation is something that seems to come in quite early in humans. There's this sense of, i can imitate, you can imitate. We all know that monkeys imitate. But there are other forms of imitation which don't seem to exist in teca. In fact, when you look at the whole idea of imitation as as a root to learning,there are all sorts of interesting shades of gray that seem to come up along the way.
