The History of the Japanese Army

I think the brutality shown by the Japanese army is really quite unique and quite extraordinary. They would be heads and break them and torture them in very extraordinary ways. Part of it was just the nature of war, the bloodlust that arises in the experience of war. One has to remember that Japan is a caste society. So at the bottom of society, you have out of caste Brahkuman people who are outcasts from Japan. Racial purity and cloneness is very, very important - particularly with regards to Westerners.
