Ahas sacrificed to the gods of Damascus, which had defeated him. He made himself altars in every corner of Jerusalem. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Father in heaven, we praise you, and we give you glory. We know that you are the one who accomplishes all that we do.
