The first empire which was set up here was that slave dynasty, which had two prangs. The islam practised in the southern part of india is very distinct from what we do in north india. There's ar very clear min not only language and culture, but even, to some extent, religious practices. So there's a difference because they came from so many different ways, all very fascinating.
