The Effects of Playing the Good Behavior Game on Student Behavior

The social dynamic of the classroom such that students are kinder to each other and students who were struggling with friendship issues prior to playing a good behavior game now have more opportunities to access social reinforcers for appropriate behavior. That changes school. Now you have this positive interaction with your teacher that you didn't have the opportunity to have before. And so I think that this happens for some subset of kids where functionally their school context is changed and improved across all the important social domains in school sufficiently, it could produce long-term changes.
