Panda muerto is an enriched bread similar to a brioche or if you know Jewish hala, except it has butter added to it. It's flavored with orange zest and orange blossom water or aniseed and sesame. Panda muerto really brings home the idea that day of the dead is a serious holiday, but it's not a somber one.
