The Importance of Overload Weeks in Base Training

I like smaller aerobic or smaller overload blocks within the context of training specifically for race. I think it's helpful to pulse those in when an athlete is in a base period. Meg Morgan before she got the golden ticket at Black Hand was doing these big aerobic base weeks that you had her do and you guys were doing together. That was really fascinating looking back at her training.
