Upper G Bleed - Is There a Serosis or Liver Disease?
divin: When you are helping care for and getting consulted about a patient with any sort of upper ge bleed or hemotemasis, what are some things you look at that may clue you into a potential vericeal source? Sure think i will look at their past medical history, see if they have any known evidence of a serosis or liver disease. And then also think about wrist factors for liver disease. Do they have a prior diagnosis of appetitus b or c? Do they are the ongoing alcohol users of an increased to rist for alcoholic serosis? If they don't already have a documented history of serosis, then looking for more clues.
