00:00

Introduction

The essential nature of man in post-enlightenment modernity is increasingly put into terms of his wants and needs. Unlike many conservatives, Nietzsche's attack on socialism has very little to do with whether or not a market system actually attends to the wants and needs of the population at large better than a centrally planned system. If socialism didn't satisfy the desires of the greatest money then the greatest money would not be clamoring for it. It's a proof in and of itself that socialism is the end that the greatest good for the greatest many is driving toward.
