There's a lot of benefit to not having microcervices so and theire benefits to having them, but there must be a sweet spot. It is important to look at the full strength of the cloud. The one that strikes me though as very critical for a multitenant application is ensuring that data is isolated from other services. There are two common patterns which are commonly adapted.
