The Uncharted Water of Donald Trump

If Trump is found guilty in one or more of the investigations and succeeds in becoming president, can he pardon himself on taking office? Well, actually, you know, because this is a state-level case and not a federal case, Donald Trump does not have the power to pardon himself. Conceivably, he could pardon himself for federal crimes. There's nothing in the Constitution that says he can't. I guess that would be a new bit of uncharted water that Donald Trump could explore if he gets elected president and has been convicted.
