Mika Leon: Castro had such a violent temper. He has an anarchistic type of personality. But overall, I usually succeeded in convincing him. Sometimes his behavior was just impossible. We would come to an agreement on everything and the next day he would begin defending his old position. For five days in a row, I could defend some issue and bring it to a close every day and we would reach an agreement just to have him begin it all over again in a few hours. So what happened here? It varied depending on the situation we're talking about. One of the late demands which the Americans made only after the public crisis was over was for the removal of mosquito-class motorboats
