Lewis Hamilton's Late Jink to the Inside
It struck me very much is a down the middle defense for Lewis coming down that straight. And I think he was, as you say, planning to take the inside. But unlike other incidents down that very same straight, I think he thought he was more cautious, perhaps, about moving to the inside. When he caught sight of wherever stopping was, if that makes any reaction from you. By the time he knew Max was committing to the inside, it kind of was too late, which is why he did that. If it was the final lap, maybe it would have been different. Maybe he would have fought it more more clearly. He obviously feels a lot more of what's going on
