The Importance of Choosing Christ
The ultimate goal is that we can have that reunification of family. The Pharisees were angry that Jesus was speaking to the publicans and the sinners. We are offended that God is merciful. It's okay that the Lord has mercy for all of us, whether you're the lost sheep or the one who hasn't gone astray. Don't be jealous at God's mercy because you've been enjoying that mercy for a long time.
