Do You Want Joe Biden as Your Nominee?

Katelyn: I think age works pretty strangely here in the sense that overwhelmingly young voters in 2020 voted for Bernie Sanders who is hardly younger than Joe Biden. But some of their younger options were people like say Pete Buttigieg or Amy Klobuchar who didn't necessarily attract the sort of like progressive insurgent mindset, she says. Katelyn: There's an old expression in politics which is you can't beat somebody with nobody. And so if you could kind of engineer this candidate like Amelia said, who is basically like fits all Biden's, like checks all Biden's boxes but is 30 years younger, then there would be a genuine race to get his nomination.
