The History of Funganui

Funganui is one of the early New Zealand company settlements. The town was originally called Peter before being renamed Wanganui in 1854. In 1924 Funganui would graduate from a town to a city, the fifth largest city in the country. Our man Charles Mackey started out in Funganui as a lawyer. He made a name for himself as a guy who would take any case, no matter how hopeless.
