The Bid for Relationship

Brandon: I was working at another small corporation and one of the owners was this like burly and aggressive Jewish man who had a reputation for being just mean. He would get foam out the mouth, literally foam out his mouth, angry at people we worked with or at customers of ours. And so that was how he operated. But still he says this in verse 7. Give me a drink. It wasn't this ploy, this juke, this year old step to get to some gospel presentation. No it was a bid for relationship. It was a bid to know. Verse 6 and 7 to rely on Jesus. Verses 11 through 13 and then also become like him. A bid
