Do We Need a New Metric Like the Turing Test?
The Turing test was defined by famous computer scientists Alan Turing in the 50s as a very smart idea of how do we tell when we've achieved intelligence. Up until quite recently, it was quite easy to tell if you were talking to a person or whether you're talking to a machine. We need a new test or several tests and it is not at all obvious what that should be.
