Russian Spetsnaz Forces Gutted by the War in Ukraine
Russia's clandestine Spetsnaz forces have been gutted by the war in Ukraine and will need years to rebuild according to leaked intelligence documents seen by the Washington Post. These are special forces usually reserved for high risk advanced missions, but leaked US intelligence suggests that Russian commanders were over reliant on them. Dom Nichols: We're not sure how the validity of them, but let's take them at face value. They'd be used to using these assets on very niche missions. And so probably not only are they best suited to infantry work, but like I say, there's much more to it than jumping trees.
