The Cost of Induction Treatment
The government in these public institutions have actually subsidized the treatment with pharmaceutical industry. So it's interesting and everything gets sent abroad. I always try to work with industry to tell them that they should pay for the studies but to have them done locally, not as sendouts. Having said that, we actually didn't have this liberty until three or four years ago. We see a lot of patient records there, induction regimen in the form of CTD or malphalon, thalidomide used to be given in poor patients.
