What if I Never Go Back to Work?
Maternity leave's gotten a lot easier and some banks will let you use your return to work income when you're on maternity leave. You don't even have to go back yet, but they do want to see that you've got the cash in the bank or some savings to cover your income until you go back to work. But if you were working casually, that might change things because there's some variances in that. Some banks will want 12 months casual, some will want six and some will take as low as three.
